Hypoglycaemia in children

What is hypoglycemia?

What is hypoglycemia?
Hypoglycemia is a low concentration of "sugar" in the blood. If a baby or any other person is hypoglycemic and the condition is untreated, he is prone to some health problems, some of which are very serious. Each cell in the body needs sugar - glucose - to function properly.
The healthy newborn receives glucose and other nutrients from the colostrum, the first milk produced by the mother, which represents a precursor of breast milk.
The amount of glucose in the blood is measurable and if it drops below a physiological level, the baby becomes tired, soft and may have seizures. If the level remains low for a longer period of time there is a risk of brain damage.
What children are prone to hypoglycemia?
The vast majority of healthy, full-term children are not at risk for hypoglycemia. If properly breastfed, they will receive the necessary nutrients and the glucose level will remain constant.
However, some babies are predisposed. This category includes:
• Babies born prematurely. They have low glycogen stores in the liver (used to make glucose) and are low in body fat (so they cannot use fat as an energy support). In addition, they can be sleepy, and difficult to feed.
• Children from diabetic mothers
• Children with feeding difficulties at birth
• Children who have suffered from hypothermia
Children predisposed to hypoglycemia are subjected to tests to check blood glucose levels.
What if the baby is sleepy?
Most newborns wake up frequently and want to be fed especially in the early days. Some are sleepy and feeding may take longer. These children need special supervision and encouragement to be nurtured. If your baby is in this category, keep it close to you, give it a lot of attention and contact so that it can respond as soon as it shows signs of starvation.

Funny watering can

Is the kid tired of the classic "I went to the green forest ..." watering can? We've compared a few humorous watering-puns that can put a smile on the faces of relatives, ovaries, and classmates.

As a child grows, so does her taste in watering can: learning and telling funny watering can is more fun than traditional Easter rhythms.

Here are some funny but salon-loving watering can:

I have a night before,
I was dying for Dél,
The sun is setting to the left,
And to the right: Is it watering?
The verbe jumps,
flying the shadow,
where the muskie runs,
when I water it, please.
I came to water,
I forgot my poem
I don't give birth,
The tractor rattles, the plow stops.
Lovely girl, can I water?
I was in a green forest,
I saw blue violets,
I may not be blue-green,
if I sprinkled well now.
I'm small,
My teeth are big.
Give me a slip,
To bite me big.
If the house of this house is hiding,
Let's scream,
If you don't get the hell out of here,
Instead of sitting, the gossip comes.
Free to water?
Brokpart burnt lou,
I'm the watering can!
A thought scared me. I forgot my poem.
One Pump, Two Pumps, Three Pumps, So Pumps, No Pumps - Tints.
I'm a big gardening girl,
i'm kicking with water
my name is super good,
watering, hair, but yeah.
I came with a Ferrari, 30 meters,
Am I nice and loose, watered or brought home?
I came to you, dear,
I sprinkled it.
The camel lives in the desert,
I came to water, hehe!

Watering, hair, but yeah!

It affects the fetus's feelings for the mother

It affects the fetus's feelings for the mother

We know that what we eat and what we drink during pregnancy affects the development of the fetus. But what about feelings?

It affects the fetus's feelings for the motherThe Association for Psychological Sciences points out that even a six-week-old embryo has an effect on the mother's senses. And that's not all. The way a mother feels about herself can also influence the way the fetus views her own life. It can change the attitude you have towards the world.

If you are stressed during your pregnancy

In some ways, everyone is stressed out and pregnant. This does not negatively affect the unborn child or the unborn child. However, if stress and anxiety persist, depresses the end of pregnancy, it is much more likely that the baby will be distressed. When you are anxious, your body produces stress hormone. And, of course, you think your senses don't get to the fetus, but surely these stress hormones are able to get through the placenta. If the fetus is constantly exposed to these stress hormones, then it can be stressful for you.

If you are depressed during pregnancy

Health studies call attention to the fact that depression during pregnancy is at least as common as postnatal depression. This is a fact and worth taking seriously. Almost 10 percent of pregnant women suffer from depression as a result of pregnancy.
Depressed mothers are more likely to be depressed from infancy, and are also prone to other emotional distress at the age of 18. Depression also affects the development of the fetus: if the condition of the mother during pregnancy and after childbirth is the same, then the development of the fetus and the baby have no negative effect. If, on the other hand, the mother's feelings change, she is depressed during pregnancy, but you are not reversed afterwards, then it certainly affects the development of the baby.

If you do not kill your baby during your pregnancy

If you are angry at the developing fetus, it will be effective. Studies have shown that children who were not expecting, or were more likely to be rejected, did not become involved in pregnancy, and subsequently had much more cognitive problems.

If sometimes you do not feel good in your skin during your pregnancy

Then you are the mother who works in a completely secondary way. Nine months is not a continuous pink float, it is only natural if there are days when you are not feeling well. Occasional stress or sadness has no lasting effect on the baby.In a word, if you have sadness or stress at times, then there is nothing wrong with it, you don't have to worry about it. However, if you persist, watch for symptoms and ask for help! (VIA)Related articles in this topic:

Red Velvet cake, step by step recipe to surprise

The cakes are made on any special occasion, such as children's birthday parties. For Valentine you have this Red velvet cake, one of the most classic on these dates, with a step by step so you can surprise your guests.

The Red Velvet cake will be a lot of fun for children, as its white exterior hides a colorful red cake inside, which creates a nice contrast. A very easy recipe to prepare, you just have to follow the step by step and you will succeed with a very special dessert.

  • 280 gr. Of flour
  • 125 gr. butter or margarine
  • 300 gr. of sugar
  • 275 ml. by buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 gr. of cocoa powder and 10 gr. vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 teaspoons yeast and 1 teaspoon baking soda

1. First mix the dry ingredients: the flour, the cocoa and the vanilla sugar (if it is essential, mix with the wet ones), the yeast and the bicarbonate.

2. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk (it can be made at home with milk and a tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon, leave it for about 5 min. Until the milk seems cut) with the lemon juice and then the beaten eggs. Add the red food coloring and mix well so that the color is uniform.

3. Mix the butter or margarine with the sugar until you get a creamy mixture, add the flour and the dyed buttermilk, mix well until you have a liquid and homogeneous dough.

4. Preheat the oven to 175ºC. Divide the dough into 3 greased molds, better if they are removable, so that the same amount remains in each one. Bake for about 20 or 30 minutes, let cool and put in the fridge wrapping each cake in plastic wrap.

5. Make a cream cheese to fill. For this you will need 400 gr. of cream cheese, 450 gr. of icing sugar and 150 of butter. Mix it well with the mixer. Another less traditional option is to use whipped cream with sugar, especially to coat the cake.

6. Remove the cakes and level them if necessary with a knife or mandolin. Pour a little cream on the plate so that the cake sticks. Alternate layers of sponge cake with cream, spreading it over the surface without reaching the edge and pressing lightly.

7. Cover the outside of the cake, give a first layer and then a thicker one, of cream or whipped cream, until it is completely covered. Decorate to your liking, and keep in the fridge until serving.
