Toddlers are at a great age for getting gifts: Just tearing off the wrapping is a thrill, which means anything inside the box is already a win!

A page-turner for motor maniacs
Your vehicle-obsessed toddler will enjoy story time even more when the pages feature cars, trucks, and trains. Raised shapes and cutouts encourage exploration, and the word clusters on each page kick off conversations.
Blocks for stacking and crashing
Check them out, stack them up, knock them down, repeat. Bonus: At cleanup time, they nest compactly and don't take up much room.
Grip-and-grab bouncy balls
Designed for sensory development, these lightweight balls are easy for little hands to hold and throw, and soft enough to be indoor-friendly.
Sweet little vessels that float in the bath are a toddler classic. These five BPA-free boats stack for fun or storage, bob sturdily in the water, and come with strategically placed holes to let little bathers strain water through them.
A va-va-vroom truck
With a workable dumping bed and sturdy wheels that traverse sandbox construction zones with ease, this is a classic of its genre, made from guilt-free recycled milk-container plastic.
A musical puzzle
Lift each piece of this singing puzzle to hear a verse from "The Wheels on the Bus." The horn goes beep, beep, beep, the wipers go swish, swish, swish. Music + puzzle = toddler bliss.
A mod shape-sorter
Classic shape-sorters help toddlers develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills while learning shapes and colors. This little house includes a peekaboo mirror and gently rounded pieces to be poked through the windows, door, and chimney.
A friend to tug along
As your toddler gains walking confidence, she'll love pulling along this cheery spotted puppy in all its wobbly glory.
A wheel-around walker
Piano keys, colorful rollers, light-up buttons, and a telephone (hello!) keep your little one busy for hours. Adjustable wheels can be set to spin more freely when your child really gets rolling.
A super-cool scooter
More than 50 sound effects are entertaining and educational, even as your child grows, thanks to a switch that lets you select songs, phrases, and sounds to suit his age and stage.
Cooking up some fun
It'll be a while before your kids can really help you prepare meals, but here's a toy kitchen tricked out with all the details: stove knobs that click, sink handles that turn, an oven and refrigerator with doors that open and close, and shelves to keep all your little chef's cooking stuff.

3 mistakes to avoid when buying organic foods
One of the great challenges of all parents with the most 'giddy' and active children is improve your concentration. Or at least ... get them to pay some attention to them. And it is difficult to impose a series of rules and routines when the child is unable to attend to explanations or seems to 'forget everything', despite repeating the same thing 20 times.
The best thing in these cases is to 'attack the root of the problems'. What does it cost you to pay attention ... let's improve your attention span and concentration! How? Through games !! Here I propose one of Montessori: 'The mysterious bag', a game to improve children's concentration.
This is the great doubt of many parents: 'Will he disobey me because he wants to or is it true when he says he did not hear it?' Maybe your son is right, that he simply did not heed the explanations you gave him (yes, even though you repeated the same thing 5 times). And the reason is that many children are very easily distracted, They 'disconnect' at one point and turn a deaf ear, as their attention is elsewhere (or place in their head). The solution? Improve your attention and concentration!
Here is a fabulous game to improve children's concentration: 'The Mysterious Bag'. It is an ideal Montessori game to use with the little ones (children from 3 years old can play). Follow these instructions to put it into practice:
- You need a small or medium cloth bag (plastic will make noise and the child will not be able to concentrate well).
- Enter between 5 and 10 objects in the bag, depending on the size. Make sure they are objects of very varied shapes and materials: a marble, a small stuffed animal, a shell, a key, a whistle ...
- Once you have the bag ready, you can play in two ways: ask your child to reach in and touch one of the objects, describe it out loud and try to guess what it is, or play with your child, taking turns to let him or her watch you do it too.
- To improve concentration and the sense of touch, you can wear a mask. Children love games that add a bit of 'mystery' (and covering your eyes is already an extra mystery ...).
This game is fantastic not only to improve children's concentration. It also offers the little ones other advantages. For example:
- Develop your sense of touch. The bag should contain very different objects that help the child to develop the sense of touch: soft, hard, rough objects ... large or small objects, and of different shapes. You can add objects that make a sound when pressed. Change objects and you will be able to play many times before your child tires.
- Encourage the imagination. What object will it be touching? Surely, beyond reality, the child can imagine fantastic and surprising objects. Why don't you play with him to 'invent' strange objects?
- Recognize objects by shape. This game also benefits spatial representation through the sense of touch. You will help them to 'rebuild' objects just by imagining them mentally.
- Improve vocabulary. As you ask your child to explain what he is playing, he should use a series of adjectives and nouns to help him build his vocabulary. You can help him by offering synonyms so that he in turn can enrich his vocabulary. Imagine that your child says ... 'is soft' ... You can ask: 'is it fluffy? Gentle? Velvety?' ...
- Encourage curiosity. You already know that the main engine of learning in children is curiosity. If you can stimulate him through a game, he will be much more interested in what he is learning. With this, you can create similar games. For example ... What if instead of objects you put simple questions in the bag that the child will have to answer? Every question you get right will be a point. In this way, you can create a contest for the whole family to participate.
- Improve patience. Yes, that great virtue so complex for children. You can help your child gain patience with games like this. If several children participate, you will have to wait their turn (a great challenge for them).

The baby's schedule and the guarantee of his happiness
The baby's schedule - whether it's sleep, nutrition or play is essential in the life of any baby. Routine means developing healthy habits in children and harmonious growth. Here is an example program on a day, hour of hour that indicates the best hours of sleep, eaten or walked for them!
Time 07:00 AM
It is the perfect time for the baby to wake up, and after a quick revival and a hearty breakfast, it is best to have him sit for about 15 minutes on a soft tummy on his tummy. It is advisable to do this because babies usually sleep all night on their backs, and the state and play on the tummy will help strengthen their neck strength and encourage them to crawl faster or walk the bush.
Time 09:00 AM
You definitely have to get a little something through the house and make a little order. While doing this, put the baby in a harness or sling and hold it in front. You will not be too comfortable to unfold, but so you will be with your eyes on him and you will also have fun because they are very amused by the movement. It is advisable to talk to him at the same time!
Time 10:00 AM
It's time for a walk outside. The baby should breathe a breath of fresh air. You can do this by placing it in the cart, at an angle of 45 degrees. Then you can talk to him and you can describe and show him the mud, the trees, the cars.
Surely the fresh air in the morning will fall asleep, so if you fall asleep, then tilt the stroller back to the horizontal and let it attract a sleeping baby.
Time 12:00 AM
Here until the little boy slept and until you got home the lunch hour was done. It's time to give them a pope. Do not hold it in your arms, but put it on the special baby table when you give it to the pope. As long as you gather the table and wash the dishes, give the toys some fun with them at the table.
It's time for fun and siesta after lunch! Put the little boy in an activity center or in the precursor and let him explore all the corners of the house or have fun with the toys attached to the center. In this way the little one will develop his muscles and legs, as well as the senses.
Time 2:00 PM
2 o'clock came, the sleep again hung up and here is the time for another baby baby sleep. Even if he is not sleepy, let him sleep in a crib alone. It is his moment to sit and rest. Even if you zoom in a little when you leave him, he does not immediately take you to him, waiting because he may find employment with the handcuffs, feet or anything else around him.
It's time for individual play. Children need to play alone. Whether you leave it in a crib, in a baby basket or on a special mattress surrounded by your favorite toys, it is important to encourage him to play alone. In the meantime, you can prepare dinner, which is approaching with rapid steps.
It is your turn to get involved in his play, to tickle him and to make him laugh copiously by placing him in a baby activity center or in bed next to you. Talk to them, smile and kiss them as much as you want! It is your moment of affection and "communication".
It's time for dinner! Give it to the pope by putting it on the table or in the pre-mixer, then let him have a nap and have a bath. Don't forget to do her evening massage.
It's time for sleep, so the baby must be put in his crib. In no case does he teach him to sleep with you in bed. The children must be educated from birth to sleep in the crib. Then he begins to read a story until he falls asleep.
Make reading the story a daily routine!
It contributes fully to the cognitive development of the child. When it gets bigger, the evening stories will be replaced with discussions about the events of the day. It is important to have a form of evening communication between the child and the parent. It has the role of uniting and strengthening the relationship between them.
